Halo2 is a high-pressure water mist system designed to offer reliable fire protection in your home. It features a compact central pump, discreet ceiling-mounted spray heads and flexible pipework that connects directly to your incoming water mains.

In 2022, Halo2 became the first fire mist system to pass the FPA’s UKAS-accredited BS 8458 Annex C test, covering both residential and domestic water mist systems, including open room testing. Halo2 was developed to meet the growing need for a fire protection system that’s fully compliant, cost-effective and visually discreet.

In the event of a fire, the spray heads are activated by a frangible bulb that breaks, allowing mains water to flow through the pipework. This triggers a flow sensor, sounding an alarm and activating the priority demand valve to direct all available water to the Halo2 system.

The water is pressurised up to 100 Bar and delivered as a high-pressure mist through the spray head closest to the fire. The system runs for 30 minutes by default or until manually isolated.
